Public Notice of Works at Bridge Meadow Play Area – 24-26 February 2025

PUBLIC NOTICE OF WORKS
AT THE BRIDGE MEADOW PLAY AREA
24 TO 26 FEBRUARY 2025
(weather permitting)

Starting on Monday 24 February works will be taking place within the Play Area at the Bridge Meadow involving the main areas being rotavated in readiness for the replacement bark, the removal and replacement of the junior swing and the installation of additional safety matting.

While the play area will still be accessible during this time, periodic access to the relevant areas while they are being worked on will be restricted (see below). Children must be supervised by a responsible adult during this period.

The Contractors, Urban Recreation, will close off the area they are working on at that time to forewarn members of the public of their presence and the work being carried out.

Restricted areas will be evidenced using brightly coloured heras fencing and signage.

Users of the play area are requested to keep away from the heras fenced areas (or where any work is underway) and to be mindful of the presence of the works being carried out and contractors during this period.
