Castle Currently Closed

Haverfordwest Castle is temporally closed while development work is carried out to conserve the castle walls, create an outdoor event space, develop the gaol building ready to become an exciting new visitor attraction and a refurbishment the Governor’s House. During this period, the Town Museum is re housed in the town centre on the Riverside. The car park in the castle is closed during the development period. Work will continue until the planned opening of Haverfordwest Castle in Spring 2027
