The Community Well-being and Resilience (CWBR) team from PLANED had a great day recently at Haverfordwest Skate park hosting the pod drop in centre and asking what activities young people would like to see in the town.

Anna, Abi and Laura, the CWBR Officers are gathering ideas and suggestions from young people on a range of issues that affect them.  The team are working to gather this feedback and explore ways to make new ideas happen.

Speaking about the day, Abi said: ‘It was great to see and hear from so many young people at the skate park. There were lots of great suggestions for improvement to the skate park.  We are also really keen to hear about ideas and suggestions for other parts of the town, please get in touch and let us know what you want to see change!’

Laura added: “The CWBR team would like everyone to think about the activities on offer in Haverfordwest for children and young people. The skate park seems to be very successful and popular. Is there something new you would like to see in the town? What do you think of the new Youth Centre?”

Anna continued: “We would like to know hear from as many people as possible so please come and visit us at the pod in the skate park.  We will be back there on Thursday 19th September, 3pm to 5pm.”

CWBR are working alongside town and community councils, to improve the well-being of individuals within their communities as well as building community resilience.  The CWBR team will support town and community councils to engage with their communities and look at possible improvements and changes in order to develop well-being plans and project activities.
