THE COUNTY OF PEMBROKE (CROWHILL ROAD (B4330), HAVERFORDWEST)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019

NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The proposed Order is necessary so that tree and hedge cutting works can take place.

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic other than exempted vehicles from proceeding along that section of Crowhill Road (B4330), Haverfordwest, from its junction with the access to the property known as Crowhill House, south to its junction with Cashfield Way.

The alternative route for traffic will be Sheltery Hill and C3087 road towards Haverfordwest, A40(T) Fishguard to Haverfordwest road, Fishguard Road (A40), Sydney Rees Way, A487 Old Bridge Relief road and B4330 towards Croesgoch.

Pedestrian access will be maintained for the duration of the closure.

To minimise disruption, it is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will take place over 4 consecutive Sundays commencing on Sunday 24th March 2019.

The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 12 months as a contingency should the works need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
